The sensitivity of a pacemaker to magnetic fields depends on both the strength of the magnetic field and the rate of change. Generally, magnetic fields ranging from a few gauss to several thousand gauss can potentially interfere with pacemakers. Our magnetic pin and clip generate magnetic fields up to 2100 gauss. For users with pacemakers, we advise against wearing the Plaud NotePin S on the chest area (whether with the lanyard, magnetic pin, or clip) due to its magnetic properties.
